Women’s History Month makes me particularly grateful for all of the strong women who helped shape my ambitions and who continue to inspire me, like my grandmother, mother, sisters, colleagues, and friends.
RAMONA has always been about bold language, a strong sense of self and using one’s voice to speak up for what matters. I founded this company on maternity leave, a time when I knew subconsciously in order to be both the professional and the mother I aspired to, I would need to take control and RAMONA was born.
At RAMONA we have an all-female governance board and a majority-female board of advisors. I’m particularly proud of our WBENC Women-Owned-Business certification. Our leadership team is entirely female, and women are the driving creative force behind every decision we make. I am thankful this month and every other for the women who have paved the way so that RAMONA can exist and grow on our terms and so that we can make beverages that live up to our highest standards - organic, all-natural, and ethically sourced.
This month we are continuing our celebration of The Roots Fund, a non-profit organization that empowers the BIPOC wine community by providing educational resources, scholarships, mentorship, financial support and job opportunities.
